"Polar Bear Noetics" is an inquiry into Polar Bear cognitive or epistemological abilities and their propensity to be more advanced than the ones from other large animals (such as the media, empirically-based so-called "sciences of the mind" or politicians), as well as the potential issues that can emerge from such a matter of fact, notably at a scientific or environmental level.
Musically-speaking, it blends folk-revivalist symphonic structures developed previously on the Pumice/noemienours split with more Hindemith-influenced post-emo melodies and the typically cool/slo-core noemienours sound. The vinyl cut makes it sound a bit like a music box version of "Laughing stock".
